Infusion Services
Infusion Therapy
Our highly trained intravenous therapy team provides a complete array of therapies and services for adult and pediatric clients. The team includes specially trained Registered Nurses, Home Infusion Pharmacists and a Home Infusion Dietitian. Pre-discharge hospital visits are available to ensure that each patient understands his or her treatment. Once they are sent home, the team works with the patient and his or her family to promote independence.
The team also coordinates supplies, medication deliveries and laboratory tests. Services include:
-Comprehensive pharmacy services
-Infusion supplies and pumps
-Enteral and parenteral nutrition
-Enteral supplies
-Central venous line maintenance
-PICC/midline insertions and line maintenance
-Patient education and training tailored to therapy ordered
-Adverse drug reaction monitoring
-Medication profile for drug and food interactions and duplicate therapies
