EPN Quality
Elliot Physician Network - Quality Improvement
As part of the Elliot Health System, the Elliot Physician Network’s quality goal is to make a difference by partnering with our patients and other health care physicians and providers to improve care outcomes. To that end, quality is an integral part of the design and planning, implementation and measurement of all clinical and administrative initiatives. Using a proactive approach we involve our patients, physicians and hospitals, pharmacies and community organizations to improved care outcomes through our programs and initiatives.
We have developed multiple initiatives in which we identify opportunities for improvement. We have committed to the use of innovative technology, such as electronic medical records, to support our efforts to accelerate quality improvement. These systems allow for improved information management, reduction in duplication of testing, and improved communication with physician specialists.
These initiatives are examples of the steps that the Elliot Physician Network has taken to improve the quality of the healthcare our patients receive. This Quality Program Description informs readers about the scope, components and responsibilities of the Quality Program at the Elliot Physician Network. Our Quality Work Plan includes ongoing and new improvement strategies. Our main focus will continue to be the improved health and safety of our patients.
