    The purpose of the PGY-1 residency program at the Elliot Health System is to prepare pharmacists with the clinical skill set and confidence necessary to be a clinical pharmacy practitioner.  Residents completing this program will be able to pursue any of the following positions:

    •     PGY-2 Specialty Residency (particularly in ambulatory care)
    •     Clinical Pharmacist Positions
    •     Adjunct Faculty Positions

    Elliot Hospital is a 296-bed acute care facility located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The Elliot Hospital is offering a Pharmacy Practice Residency starting July 1, 2008.  The residency is a general practice PGY-1 program with a focus in ambulatory care.  There is one resident position available.  The program has pre-accreditation status from the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.  The program is affiliated with Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (MCP) in Manchester.  There will be both teaching and precepting opportunities available to the resident. Please see below for more details.

    Applicants must be graduating from an accredited school of pharmacy and be eligible for licensure in the state of New Hampshire.  To apply, please send a copy of your CV, letter of intent, official college transcript and three letters of recommendation (at least one from a college professor) to:
