Welcome to Elliot Pulmonary Medicine, a department of Elliot Hospital and a new specialty practice within Elliot Health System. Our pulmonary specialists are experts in treating breathing disorders and other problems affecting the lungs. Serving patients 17 and older, Elliot Pulmonary Medicine provides care for asthma, emphysema, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory diseases.
Meet Our Physicians Peggy Simon, MD
Dr. Simon is Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Elliot Health System, she was an associate professor of medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at Mayo Clinic, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and the University of Maryland. She received her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She served her internal medicine residency at Barnes Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, and completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hopsital and Beth Isreal Hospital, Harvard. Dr. Simon developed pulmonary rehabilitiation programs at all three centers and will be directing the pulmonary rehabilitiation program at Elliot. She was also co-director of the ALS Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and the University of Maryland.
Gregory Fanaras, MD
Dr. Fanaras is Board certified in Pulmonary Diseases, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He received his medical training at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, VT. He has been practicing in New Hampshire since 1999.

From the North:
Take Interstate 93 South to Exit 8. Turn right at the end of the exit, then left at the next set of lights onto Mammoth Rd. Go through one set of lights, crossing over Hanover St. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Lake Ave., take the first left onto Tarrytown Rd. Proceed on Tarrytown Rd. and at the first set of lights turn onto Auburn St. We are located in the second gray building on your right (across the street from the Elliot Hospital Emergency Room entrance).
From the South:
Take Interstate 93 North to Exit 6. Turn left at the end of the exit onto Candia Rd. Follow Candia Rd to the end, turning right onto Mammoth Rd. Take a left onto Nelson St and then right onto Tarrytown Rd. At the first set of lights, take a left onto Auburn St. We are located in the second gray building on your right (across the street from the Elliot Hospital Emergency Room entrance).
