Curtis J. Kloc MD, FACS Elliot General Surgical Specialists Department of Elliot Hospital 184 Tarrytown Rd. Manchester NH Dr. Kloc is American Board Certified in General Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After receiving his undergraduate degree at The John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland he returned to his hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia and earned his medical degree at West Virginia University. He completed his internship and residency at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After residency Dr. Kloc practiced general surgery in rural southern Maine for six years. Prior to joining Elliot Hospital he practiced at General Surgical Specialists of New England in Manchester. Dr. Kloc enjoys all aspects of general surgery including GI, vascular, breast, endocrine, laparoscopic surgery, including endoscopy and colonoscopy. In his time off, besides spending time with his family, Curtis enjoys biking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding and surfing. Dr. Kloc is married to Dr. Kristine Reid, an Emergency Medicine physician. They have two sons and a daughter. |

Esthia K Giakovis-Sterling MD FACS Elliot General Surgical Specialists Department of Elliot Hospital 20 Chambers Rd, Suite 2100 Hooksett, NH 03106 Dr. Giakovis-Sterling is American Board Certified in General Surgery, a member of the Society of Breast Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her residency in general surgery at Hospital of St. Raphael, Yale Affiliate, in New Haven, CT. Dr. Giakovis-Sterling specializes in all aspects of general surgery, including minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.  Thomas Meads MD Elliot General Surgical Specialists Department of Elliot Hospital 184 Tarrytown Rd. Manchester NH  William R Wilson MD FACS FAAP Dr. Wilson has over 20 years experience as a Thoracic and Vascular Specialist. He joins Elliot General Surgical Specialists from the Medical Center of South Arkansas where he served as Director of Cardiovascular Surgery for the past three years. Dr. Wilson received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed residencies in both Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery. He is Board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Wilson is accepting new vascular and thoracic surgery patients.  Miguel M Gaeta MD
Dr. Gaeta recently joined the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care (TESSCC) at the Massachusetts General Hospital in a joint effort with Elliot General Surgical Specialists to continue their efforts and build upon the excellent Trauma and Emergency Surgical Care already offered to patients at The Elliot. His time will be dedicated to providing care for patients in and around Elliot Hospital where he now makes his home.  Daiying Lu MD After graduating from the general surgery residency program at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA, Dr. Lu is currently Board Eligible for the General Surgery Board. He received both his B.A. and M.D. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. He moved up to New England for residency to be with his wife, who now practices law in MA. Dr. Lu enjoys taking care of patients in all areas of general surgery, including laparoscopy, endocrine, colorectal, acute care and trauma. Dr. Lu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in Spanish. He spends his free time with his family, pursuing outdoor activities.

STEVEN ALEXAKOS PA-C A native of New Hampshire Steve graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1997 with a Bachelor Degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and The University of New England with a Master of Science degree as a Physician Assistant in 2001. Steve has been a practicing Physician Assistant since graduating in 2001 and had been employed by General Surgical Specialists of New England since 2003. In March of 2008 he became employed by Elliot General Surgical Specialists. When not assisting in surgery Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. |

SANDA POPA PAC Sanda had been with General Surgical Specialists of New England since 2004. She became employed by Elliot General Surgical Specialists in March 2008. She graduated from Notre Dame College with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Chemistry in 2001 and received her Masters Degree as a Physician Assistant from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2003. Sanda was born in Romania and moved to the United States just before college. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and outdoor activities. |

HOLLY DESROSIERS PA-C Holly worked as a Surgical Physician Assistant at General Surgical Specialists of New England since the Spring of 2006 and became an employee of Elliot General Surgical Specialists in March 2008. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Northeastern University in 2005, and a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Anthropology also from Northeastern University in 2002. Holly is originally from Rhode Island, but has been living with her husband in New Hampshire for several years. |

Lisa Stickney, PA-C Born and raised here in New Hampshire, Lisa returns after completing a dual degree program at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Masters of Physician Assistant in May of 2008. Lisa joined the Elliot General Surgical Specialists team in October of 2008. She has a love of the outdoors and spends much of her free time fishing, hiking, and relaxing with her family at their cottage in Northern NH. |

LIZABETH O'CONNOR PAC Liz joined Elliot General Surgical Specialists in April of 2009. She has been practicing as a surgical Physician Assistant since 2004 in the areas of general, vascular, and thoracic surgery. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with her B.A. in 2002. She received her PA degree from LeMoyne College in 2004. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, and biking. |
