NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM REGISTRATION |
|
The NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM is a standardized course created to meet the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation that every birth be attended by at least one person whose primary responsibility is to initiate neonatal resuscitation and either that person, or another person who is immediately available, be able to perform all skills required for a complete resuscitation. The courses are designed for health care providers whose responsibilities may require them to participate in neonatal resuscitations. The NRP exam and skills evaluations are based on the information from the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, 5th Edition. This self-study module contains lesson reviews and performance checklists that you may use to assess your understanding of the material and your ability to perform the required skills. The Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation,5th Edition is available, in textbook and/or DVD, by loan from the Division of Neonatology and should be returned to the NRP instructor at the end of the course. Please contact Judy Booth, NNP or Diane Sanchioni at 663-2692 for a textbook/DVD. Order forms are available if you wish to purchase your own textbook/DVD. For those of you needing NRP initial certification or recertification, please mark your calendars and register for one of the following certification courses: NRP Initial Certification (2 nights) NRP Recertification (one night) NRP Recertification (one night) NRP Initial Certification (2 nights) NRP Recertification (one night) NRP Recertification (one night) NRP Initial Certification (2 nights) NRP Certification (one night) NRP Certification (one night) NRP Initial Certification (2 nights) NRP Certification (one night) NRP Certification (one night) |
