Community Health Education Success Story :
One participant of Strong Living and Strength Training Maintenance said
these classes have helped her lose over twenty pounds. She had never exercised
before this, and now she's in her early 70's and walks regularly, along with
working out with weights. This healthier lifestyle has led her to make healthier
food choices as well. She was recently able to shovel a load of small landscaping
rocks around her house, and paint parts of her house, thanks to her higher
energy level. She credits her classes at Elliot Hospital with helping her
improve her strength and endurance.
