Innovation Community/Improving Perinatal Care

Elliot Hospital has enrolled directly in the Institute for Healthcare Improvements Perinatal Innovation Community.  Elliot has chosen to enroll in this so that we could continue to improve upon our services that would allow us to deliver the best perinatal care possible.

Evidence-based guidelines for safe practices exist. Elliot is working toward ensuring that these guidelines are applied to every patient, every time.

Evidence-based care also relies on an effective, high functioning
team, complemented by complete and accurate documentation of
care provided. This is best done in a model of collaborative between all disciplines involved.  At Elliot we promote this collaborative effort in all areas of care.
