REHABILITATION SERVICES
About the Center
Elliot Rehabilitation Services are comprehensive and conveniently located at 5 sites. We provide: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Massage Therapy. Services are available to inpatients at the Elliot Hospital, as well as outpatients needing specialized Wound Care. Incontinence and/or Pelvic Pain Treatments are provided at The Max K. Willscher Urology Center within the Elliot Hospital.
Helping patients regain the maximum possible level of independence after an injury or illness is the goal of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. All programs are individually tailored. We have approximately 35 specialists working at numerous convenient locations to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients during this difficult time.
Our clinical approach is interdisciplinary. Our philosophy is to integrate family members, physician, insurer and the employer into a coordinated effort toward a positive outcome in the patient's treatment. Every day, thousands of people are doing, again, the little things that make their lives fuller and richer. We're proud to have played such an important role in their rehabilitation.
Elliot offers rehabilitation services at several locations throughout Southern New Hampshire, with flexible hours to suit your schedule. The Hampshire Hills Clinic for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is a partnership with the Hampshire Hills Sports and Fitness Club in Milford, NH. Staff members provide a comprehensive range of orthopaedic and sports injury rehabilitation services. Patients participating in rehabilitation have use of the health club during their treatment course, including the use of the weight and work-out rooms, indoor track and swimming pool. Free consultations are available for anyone with an orthopaedic or sports-related injury.

Conveniently located within the Executive Health and Sports Center (EHSC), Manchester's largest fitness center, staff members have expertise in orthopaedic and sport injuries, manual therapy, and neuromuscular diseases. Located in a state-of-the-art facility near Elliot Hospital on Mammoth Road. In cooperation with our occupational health services program, we also offer occupational rehabilitation to return injured workers to the workplace as quickly and safely as possible and to assist employers in preventing on-the-job injuries.

Abilitations Day Rehab Program is geared to serve persons with a stable medical status, following stroke, brain injury, multitrauma and/or amputation. Through intense multidisciplinary rehab, our patients will be poised to successfully reintegrate at home, in the community and vocationally.
It is currently the only site offering comprehensive Speech & Language Pathology services. Additionally, it's our site for Aquatic Therapy, for patients requiring either adapted access or a warm therapeutic pool.

Senior Health Center Rehab Services is conveniently co-located with the fitness center on the first floor. Our therapy staff will set up a tailored exercise program. Those patients utilizing the fitness equipment will receive instruction in proper use to insure maximum benefit and safety.
Appointments or referrals may be made by physicians, family members, social workers, case managers, employers, and of course, patients themselves. Our rehabilitation services are covered by most insurance carriers. Check with your insurance provider to be sure you are covered.
