Newborn Intensive Care Unit At Elliot Hospital
LIZ CASTROGIOVANNI, MS, RN, has been the Department Director of the NICU and Pediatric/Adolescent Unit at Elliot Hospital, for the past 15 years. In addition to being a nurse, she holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Services, and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration. Over the past 15 years, Liz has remodeled the Elliot's Pediatric/Adolescent Unit and built 2 new NICU's, most recently opening the single/semi-private 21-bed unit. Liz sits on the NH Newborn Hearing Screening Program Committee and Manchester's Immunization Coalition for NH. In 2004, Liz won the Leadership Award from the March of Dimes in NH, playing an active role in the state supporting the MOD as well as Perinatal Care.
