Upcoming Campaigns & Events 2nd Annual Associates Gala The Associates are gearing up for our 2nd Annual Associates Gala Dinner/Dance. This year's event will take place on Friday, October 3rd, from 6 to 11 p.m. at C.R. Sparks in Bedford. All proceeds from the event will benefit Elliot's Women's and Children's Services. A silent auction will also take place during the evening, with proceeds to benefit the VNA. Program book and table sponsorship opportunities are available. The Associates are also looking for volunteers to sell tickets. For more information on the gala, to purchase tickets, or help sponsor the event, call Carol Gagnon at ext. 2981. Annual Golf Tournament Classic: The Elliot Associates 4th annual Golf Tournament took place on June 5th at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown. A big "thank you!" goes out to all those who helped coordinate and played in what we believe to be the best Associates Annual Golf Tournament yet. It was very rewarding for the Associates to see so many hospital staff members take part in the event. Many thanks go to The Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation for their assistance in gaining sponsors and coordination! The tournament raised $27,000 for the new Breast Health Center. Major sponsors included: McKesson, Galligher Printing, Banknorth Investment Management Group, Varian Medical Systems, Pro Con Construction, Ernst & Young, Lavallee Brensinger, Architects. Sponsorship opportunities and foursomes are available for next year's scramble tournament scheduled for Thursday, June 3, 2004; for more information, or to sign up to play, contact Susanna Whitcher at 603-663-8933. Artist in Residence Program The Elliot Associates invite artists to hang their artwork in a designated hallway of the hospital for patients and visitors to enjoy. Elliot is currently enjoying the works of Luci Lemerises; her work will be displayed until the end of August. Coming in September, Jennifer Trendel will exhibit some of her watercolors, which reflect places she's recently traveled. Later in the year, Nancy Johnson, of Bedford, will be displaying some of her pastels. All artwork may be purchased at the Associates Shop with part of the proceeds directly benefiting the hospital. For more information, contact Gail Badolato at ext. 3051. |
