Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers at Elliot Hospital give their valuable time, experience, and energy to help patients, hospital staff, and the community. Being a volunteer carries with it a great responsibility as they complement and supplement the work of paid professionals providing high quality health care to the community. Currently more than 500 people volunteer at Elliot Hospital each year. More than 80 volunteer opportunities exist in various hospital departments and programs.
Volunteers may serve at all levels of the organization in appropriate programs and activities. Volunteers are asked to make a commitment to a specific assignment on a regular basis.
The hospital staff is encouraged to assist in the creation of meaningful and productive roles in which volunteers might serve and to assist in recruitment of volunteers from the community.
