Elliot Hospital Associates

Circle of Giving

Within the Elliot Hospital Associates, the circle of giving starts with funds that the organization raises every year.  There are a variety of programs, services, activities and events that all together result in funds that are then used to support the mission of the Elliot Health System.

Did you know that…….

  • The revenues from the gift shops both at the Elliot Hospital and at River’s Edge are part of the Associates’ work?
  • Each time you get a cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts you are supporting the work of the Associates?
  • Other revenue sources for the Associates include the NH Lottery machine in the Main Lobby, the vending machines located on several levels of the hospital, and the baby portrait program on Maternity?

The Associates also host various fundraisers that you see in the main lobby and by the hospital cafeteria.  Recent events you may have seen include Mother’s and Father’s Day raffles, toy sales, scrub clothing sales, and select food events.

The dollars raised by all of these events and services are re-invested in the Elliot Health System programs and services. Examples of the gifts made to the Elliot in 2016 from the Associates include such items as vital sign monitors, bariatric equipment, swaddlers for babies born at the Elliot, in order to promote safe sleep, and specialty chairs for surgical patients.

The Associates also award five health education scholarships each year! Look for an update later this Fall about the scholarship recipients.  They are an impressive group of professionals enhancing their education in health care fields.

So when you think about that cup of coffee, scrub gown purchase, or gift shop purchase, know that your support like this is vital to the Elliot to enhance it’s care of patients.

This is the circle of giving.

Thank-you for all that you do!
