Appreciation for Our Nurses During Nurses Week

It is National Nurses Week—an annual event that serves as a reminder for us to take a break from our busy days, and recognize the hard work, talent, dedication and sacrifice our nurses give all year long. Please join me in thanking our nurses, especially this week, with the intention of offering our appreciation throughout the entire year.

We have incredible nurses working hard to care for our patients. Whether in an ambulatory setting to provide preventative or specialty care, in the home providing care where patients and families live, or in our acute care settings at Elliot Hospital, each and every nurse deserves our gratitude.

The commitment and perseverance our nurses show all year long make our patients, and entire communities, healthier now, and for many years to come. Our nurses are essential to our mission to inspire wellness, heal our patients and serve with compassion.
