Through this national effort, Elliot is supporting the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Manchester Police Department to offer a safe, convenient, and responsible way for community members to dispose of medication. The event is free, open to the public, and no appointment is required.

Event Details:
Saturday, October 24, 2026
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Since 2010, the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day has helped remove more than 20 million pounds of unwanted medications nationwide. Proper disposal is especially important for prescription pain medications, including opioids, which are among the most commonly misused drugs, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Community members are encouraged to check their medicine cabinets and safely dispose of medications they no longer need.
