Manchester Transit Authority Puts Elliot Senior Health Center on Its Map!
The Manchester Transit Authority, in collaboration with the City of Manchester Department of Public Health’s Age-Friendly Action Plan, recently established a new bus route to provide seniors with better access to care and other resources. The bus route will take riders from Center City to the North End – and help seniors more easily get to healthcare services, grocery stores, pharmacies, shops, and Livingston Park.

Elliot’s President & CEO, Dr. Greg Baxter, along with Manchester’s Mayor Jay Ruais and Deputy Public Health Director, Elaine Michaud attended a kick-off celebration on June 22, to officially launch the new schedule, which includes a stop at Elliot Senior Health Center - 138 Webster Street. Rides are being offered at no charge through the end of September, which will conclude the pilot phase of the route.
