Ostomy Care

Overview

Our providers assist patients who have or may soon undergo ostomy surgery, including those with a colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy or ileal conduit.

Our ostomy services begin with pre-operative education and counseling to prepare you for this life-changing surgery.

Following surgery, our experienced team can help you maintain your quality of life through ongoing follow-up and education, including:

• Evaluation of appliance fit
• Ostomy care
• Supply ordering advice
• Diet and nutrition counseling
• Evaluation and management of stoma complications and associated skin conditions
   

Referrals

You may self-refer or get a referral from your primary care provider or surgeon.
