Patients & Visitors
COVID-19 Visitor Policy:
Updated February 1, 2022
Due to the realities of COVID-19’s extensive spread in our community, Elliot Health System has instituted a visitor policy to help us maintain the safest possible environment for health care.
All patients and visitors will be screened - including a temperature check - upon arrival to the hospital.
Masks are required the entire time a visitor is in the building.
One adult household member or caregiver may visit per patient per day.
All visitors must wear a mask the entire time they are in the building, including in patient rooms; visitors need to go straight to the patient’s room.
Two parents/guardians are allowed for patients under 18.
No visitation is permitted for COVID positive, rule-out, or quarantine patients.
One support person may accompany a patient to their appointments.
Both parents/guardians are permitted for pediatric patients.
Masks are required for all patients, and anyone accompanying patients, at all locations.
The waiting rooms have been re-designed to accommodate social distancing.
All patients and their companions will have their temperature checked upon arrival, and a modified check-in process will occur.
We recognize this is a difficult time, and we appreciate your cooperation.
