Pediatric Neurology

Pediatric Neurology

Our specialists, well trained in pediatric neurology, recognize the challenges of children living with the difficulties of conditions like seizures, headaches and abnormal movements or behaviors.

Comprehensive Pediatric Neurology Care

Skilled in assessing sick children who may require advanced therapeutic and diagnostic evaluation, our pediatric neurologists are experienced in caring for both the family and the young patient who is living with neurological conditions. We manage complex neurological problems in children while providing exemplary medical attention and collaborating with other pediatric specialists as needed.

Resource for Pediatric Headaches

Simple changes in lifestyle can dramatically improve headaches in children, such as maintaining a regular bedtime, drinking enough fluids, and eating enough protein-rich meals. These simple things are not always easy to accomplish but can go a long way to improving headaches.

When Sedation is Needed, Trust Our Trained Experts

Our pediatric anesthesia service is led by two pediatric anesthesiologists, who are extensively trained in this highly specialized skill. They, along with a team of nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), who have a special interest in pediatric anesthesia, are at your child's side throughout their surgery. This service also provides care throughout the hospital during procedures that require more than a moderate level of sedation, such as MRIs.

With specially trained board-certified pediatric emergency physicians on staff, procedural sedation is also available for children who need to undergo anxiety-producing procedures.
