Our patients are encouraged to utilize Elliot Hospital in Manchester. As an Elliot Physician Network practice, we feel the partnership with Elliot Hospital allows for a better quality and continuity of care. If you are admitted to a facility where our providers do not have admitting privilages, our office will be able to obtain your medical record from that facility pending your written release and provide follow-up care for you.
As primary care physicians our doctors provide all aspects of your preventive healthcare needs including gynecoloogical screenings, ensuring that you are up-to-date with recommended immunizations, monitoring your risk factors for heart disease or cancer and more. However, our physicians do not provide obstetrical care during a pregnancy.
Yes we do provide services for lab testing within our office. Your results will be reviewed as soon as received by your physician. You should receive your results within two weeks by mail or if you are a registered user of My E Chart, you can access these results electronically. If after that time you have not received these results, please contact our office.
As a user of My E-Chart you may request refills of your prescriptions electronically. All medication refill requests will be complete within 24 -48 hours. This time allows the nurse to review your request, forward it to the physician for approval, and contact the pharmacy. Those needing a mail away prescription should make certain our office is contacted two weeks prior to the prescription’s completion, in order to allow time for the request to be entered and the prescription to be returned.
We strive to use an “open access” approach to scheduling appointments, which allows most patients to see their physician within 24 hours of their call for acute issues. You may also make appointments via MY E-Chart.
Our physicians are open to this concept and are happy to discuss patients’ options on an individual basis.
Yes. Should you have a medical need, simply contact our office to be connected with a qualified nurse, who will assess your medical need. A physician is available if necessary. Elliot Primary Care at Londonderry has implemented a state of the art Electronic Medical Record System that enhances the quality of care we are able to provide. Each physician has the ability to review your complete medical history to meet your medical needs.
Pediatric patients will be followed by either their own primary care physician or by one of the other Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric physicians.
Adults may be followed by one of the Elliot family practice physicians or by the Elliot Hospitalist Service. The Hospitalist Service is composed of Board Certified Internal Medicine specialists who work closely with your primary care physician to provide the highest standard of care. The Hospitalist service can often provide superior care when minute-to-minute decisions need to be made regarding patient care. In case of a hospital admission, your physician will determine which service is more suitable. This decision is often made on a case-by-case basis. In regards to admission decisions, you are welcome to discuss your preferences or concerns with your primary care physician.
