Gonzales Ricardo

Ricardo Gonzales, MD, FAAOS

Primary Focus of Interest: Adult hip and knee replacement surgery; anterior hip replacement; partial knee replacement; outpatient joint replacement; revision hip and knee replacement; enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS); rehabilitation

Dr. Gonzales has been serving the Southern New Hampshire community since 2006 and was among the first in Manchester to perform minimally invasive anterior hip replacement surgery, computer navigated knee replacement surgery, and outpatient hip and knee replacement surgery. Graduating from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 2000, he went on to complete his orthopaedic training as well as his fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System in Baltimore, Maryland.

While practicing at Dartmouth Hitchcock Manchester, Dr. Gonzales served as the Associate Director - Orthopaedic Service Line and was awarded New Hampshire Magazine Top Doctor in 2020. Dr. Gonzales joined the orthopaedic team at the Elliot Hospital in 2020.

Dr. Gonzales has published multiple peer reviewed articles and presented original research at national meetings. Dr. Gonzales is currently collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in order to enhance the perioperative care pathway at the Elliot Hospital in order to achieve early recovery for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery.





Houseman Bryan

Bryan Houseman, DO, ATC

A graduate of Northeastern University with a major in Athletic Training Dr. Houseman then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, he matriculated at WellSpan York Hospital in York, PA when he completed a five year Orthopaedic Surgery residency at this central Pennsylvania Level I Trauma center. An interest in trauma surgery developed in college working as an Orthopaedic Technician on the Trauma service at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA. This further developed during residency leading to acceptance at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY where he further subspecialized in Adult and Pediatric Orthopaedic Traumatology. His pediatric orthopaedic fracture management training was performed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati, OH) as well as Norton Children’s Hospital (Louisville, KY) which both serve their communities as pediatric trauma centers. Following fellowship he and his family have been serving the community of Manchester for nearly 2.5yrs now, and recently as an addition to Elliot Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists.

Professional interests include complex periarticular fractures, pelvis and acetabular trauma, pediatric orthopaedic trauma, post-traumatic and acute-traumatic joint arthroplasty (replacement), reconstruction following malunion, nonunion, and post-infectious fracture management, and the treatment of the traumatized chest wall.

He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the Chest Wall Injury Society, The Orthopaedic Trauma Association, The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.

Lawless Dr 11

Bryan Lawless, MD

Primary Focus of Interest: Knee and Hip Replacement (for all complex and simple knee and hip conditions)

Dr. Lawless is a subspecialty-trained adult joint reconstructive surgeon, trained at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He specializes in all knee and hip replacements. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in the Boston University Department of Orthopaedics at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Lawless has expertise in the field of joint replacement including computer navigation, patient specific implants of the hip and knee, and treating patients with severe post traumatic and congenital deformities. He has interest in treating patients with pain who have been recipients of the recently recalled metal on metal hip implants.




Mack

Jonathan Mack, MD, CAQSM

Primary Focus of Interest: Sports Injuries and Minimally-Invasive Surgery (all sports-related injuries, knee ligament injuries, and rotator cuff tears

Dr. Mack is the Director of Sports Medicine at Elliot Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists. He is a Harvard Graduate, and is double board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Mack worked as an assistant team physician for the NBA’s Miami Heat, and he serves locally as the team physician for Souhegan High School. He has performed thousands of arthroscopic and other sports-related surgeries. Patients appreciate the time he takes to provide thorough and understandable explanations of orthopaedic problems.


Parisien Dr 10

Robert Parisien, MD

Primary Focus of Interest: Orthopaedic Trauma, Fracture Surgery, and Shoulder Replacement Surgery

Dr. Parisien has been in practice for 10 years specializing in adult and pediatric orthopaedic traumatology and fracture surgery. He moved to NH in 2010 after being in practice in Portland, Maine for 6 years. He is a graduate of the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and was the chief orthopaedic resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in his senior year. He did a fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s hospital finishing in 2004.

He graduated with honors from Dartmouth Medical School in 1999 and was elected to the AOA honor society. Prior to his medical career he was a professional athlete. He is a former member of the US Ski Team and competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. He was a member of the United States Ski Team from 1987 to 1992.

Sadeghi Ericka

Erika Sadeghi, MD, CAQSM

Primary Focus of Interest: non-operative orthopedic care of pediatric to geriatric patients, medical management of sports-related injuries, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures, platelet rich plasma (PRP) procedures, trigger point injections, sport-related concussions.

Dr. Sadeghi is board certified in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She completed fellowship at Brown University in Providence, RI, where she covered as a team physician for high school, collegiate, and professional sports teams including Division I Football at the University of Rhode Island, Division I Women’s Soccer and Men’s Lacrosse at Providence College, and Division III Wrestling at Johnson & Wales University. Prior to fellowship, she completed residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Sadeghi has recently published articles in topics of Sports Medicine, including exercise in pregnancy, exercise for the elderly, musculoskeletal ultrasound and wilderness sport emergencies. She is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Academy of Family Practice. She enjoys competing in endurance events such as Ironman triathlons and marathons in her free time.


Scibetta

Paul Scibetta, Jr., DO

Primary Focus of Interest: Hand and Wrist Injuries/Conditions (including fractures of the hand and wrist; tendon and nerve injuries,carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, Dupuytren’ s contracture, ganglion cysts ;arthritis the thumb, hand and wrist)

Dr. Scibetta a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience. He began his career in orthopaedic surgery as a solo practitioner in Plymouth, NH at Tenney Mountain Orthopaedics. After five years of private practice, he joined Speare Memorial Hospital, in Plymouth, NH, where he worked for seven years before moving to Beckley, West Virginia where he worked for three years at the Raleigh Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Scibetta enjoys caring for all injuries and conditions involving the hand, wrist and elbow. He has a particular interest in treating fractures and arthritis of the hand and wrist.




SOLE

Mary-Lee Sole, MD

Primary Focus of Interest: General Orthopaedics (shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, ankle/foot)

Dr. Sole has been part of the Elliot community for over 20 years. She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate school of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. She earned her Medical Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Sole treats most orthopaedic ailments, both operative and non-operative, including arthritis, strains and sprains as well as fracture treatment. Dr. Sole strongly believes in individualized and personal care of all patients.


Summers Jake

N. Jake Summers, DPM, FACFAS

Primary Focus of Interest: Ankle joint replacement, sports injuries, foot and ankle deformities and other surgical conditions of the foot and ankle, including Achilles tendons, flatfeet, bunions, hammertoes and arthritis.

N. Jake Summers, DPM, FACFAS is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon who has served the southern New Hampshire community since 2016. His practice focuses on ankle joint replacements, foot and ankle deformity correction and reconstruction, sports injuries, trauma, and Charcot reconstruction.

Summers was born and raised in Idaho. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his podiatric medical degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa in 2012. He completed an intensive three-year residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgical in association with Harvard Medical School at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA where he also served as chief resident. Upon completion of his residency, Summers completed his advanced specialty training in foot and ankle reconstruction through a fellowship at Coordinated Health Orthopedics in Bethlehem, PA.

He is actively involved in research and has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles as well as national award-winning manuscripts. He is an active peer reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and regularly lectures both regionally and nationally. He is involved with education and training at the Mount Auburn Hospital/Harvard Medical School residency program and is on faculty at the New Hampshire Musculoskeletal Institute.

He is board certified in reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons; is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons; an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.




Brady KIMC

Kim C. Brady, MS, APRN, NP-C

Kim C. Brady, MS, APRN, NP-C is Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in 2006 and received her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing at Rivier College in 2010, graduating Cum Laude. Kim is also a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA). She is certified through the National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA). Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists in August of 2010, Kim worked as a registered nurse at Lowell General Hospital. She worked as a charge nurse on their post surgical floor and also oriented new nurses in the Lowell General Hospital’s New Graduate Program.


Cacciola Michael

Michael Cacciola PA-C, ATC

Michael Cacciola PA-C, ATC received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University and his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, Magna Cum Laude from Merrimack College. Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists Michael served as the Orthopaedic Technician at Essex Orthopaedics and Optima Sports Medicine. Michael also served as an Athletic Trainer, Certified at Central Catholic High School.


Cacciola Michael

Nathaniel Nieva, PA-C

Nathaniel Nieva, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant, is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in Manchester. Nieva received his B.S. in biology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Nieva previously also worked as an EMT and a firefighter before earning his PA degree. He has extensive community involvement with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation working to conquer children’s cancer, the North Country Down Syndrome Association and the Autism Alliance. “I want to be able to communicate with my patients, so they truly understand the ins and outs of what’s happening,” he says. “I make it a point to communicate with them so they understand their condition and their treatment options and, from there, we’re able to decide together what would best suit their needs.”


Cappucci Michael

Michael Cappucci, PA-C

Michael Cappucci, PA-C, received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS here in Manchester and his Bachelor of Health Sciences from Franklin Pierce University. Prior to becoming a PA, he practiced as a medical assistant in urgent cares throughout southern New Hampshire, and as an EMT in Worcester, MA. He joined Elliot Orthopedics in April of 2022 as a new graduate.


Radlinski Laura

Laura Radlinski, PA-C

Laura Radlinski, PA-C, received her Master of Science in Health Sciences from Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC and Bachelor of Arts at Hamilton College. Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists, Laura worked as a PA at New England Baptist Hospital in spine surgery and at Cambridge Health Alliance in emergency medicine. Prior to becoming a PA, she held positions as a nursing assistant and medical assistant at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, respectively. Laura jointed Elliot Orthopedics in December of 2019.


Smith Christopher

Christopher Smith, PA-C

Christopher Smith, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He received his Master of Physician Studies from MCPHS University in Manchester, NH. He received his Master of Acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture in MA; additionally, he received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists, Christopher worked in the Orthopaedics department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where he focused on general orthopaedics, total joint arthroplasty and sports medicine. Christopher joined Elliot Orthopaedics in November of 2020.


Smith Christopher

Tim Smith PA-C, ATC

Tim Smith PA-C, ATC received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin Pierce University and his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the State University of New York at Cortland. Prior to joining Elliot Orthopedic Specialist Tim worked as a Physician Assistant for Agility Orthopedics and New Hampshire Orthopedic Center. Before his career as a Physician Assistant, he served as an Athletic Trainer at Harvard University.


Smola Jacqueline

Jacqueline Smola, PA-C

Jacqueline Smola, PA-C, received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI and her Bachelor of Arts at Quinnipiac University. She is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists, Jackie worked as a PA at Riverside Orthopedics in Newport News, VA. While there, she had a primary focus on the pathology of the foot and ankle, as well as total joint surgery. Jackie joined Elliot Orthopaedics in March of 2020.

Misha Sullivan, PA-C

Misha Sullivan, PA-C, ATC received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England. Prior to joining Elliot Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists Misha was employed as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Portsmouth High School. Misha joined Elliot Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists in August 2011.
