Our staff consists of a multi-disciplinary staff that has extensive training in the medical, emotional and developmental needs of children:
We realized that the hospitalization of a child is stressful. A child and the family may have many fears and anxieties, and that the well being of a child comes from a family’s understanding, participation, love and support. We acknowledge the family’s role as primary caregivers. The Pediatric/Adolescent Unit values this family-centered care model and we are committed to supporting families in this vital role.
In this video, Dr. Jessica McIntyre provides detailed information about what happens when a child has bronchiolitis, including Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and treatment options to help a child recover.
