Recognize a Deserving Nurse!
Nurses at Elliot go above and beyond daily to care for our patients with compassion, expertise, skill, and dedication. Help us recognize an Elliot nurse who provides exceptional care by nominating them for a DAISY Award!
- Any licensed registered nurse, nursing teacher, or nursing student is eligible to be nominated for a DAISY Award.
- Anyone, including patients and their families, colleagues, preceptors, and staff, can nominate a nurse for a DAISY Award.
To nominate an Elliot nurse for a DAISY Award, please email EHSMarComm@elliot-hs.org.
In your nomination, please include the nurse’s full name (First and Last if known), the room number/unit/floor where your nurse assisted you, and a detailed description of why you are nominating this nurse or midwife. Please provide as much detail as possible!
About The DAISY Foundation
The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family.
