Recognize a Deserving Nurse!

Nurses at The Elliot go above and beyond daily to care for our patients with compassion, expertise, skill, and dedication. Help us recognize an Elliot nurse who provides exceptional care by nominating them for a DAISY Award!

  • Any licensed registered nurse, nursing teacher, or nursing student is eligible to be nominated for a DAISY Award.
  • Anyone, including patients and their families, colleagues, preceptors, and staff, can nominate a nurse for a DAISY Award.

Please describe a situation in which the nurse or midwife demonstrated compassionate care and how it impacted you. Please provide as much detail as possible!

Please be as detailed as possible!

About The DAISY Foundation

The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way. To learn more, visit DAISYFoundation.org.
