CPR Services

Elliot Fitness Services offers CPR training to individuals and companies. Elliot follows the ‘Blended Learning’ format in delivering CPR courses which consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is an online portion sold through the American Heart Association and Part 2 is the in-person skills session where we test students on their skills. Part 1 must be completed prior to Part 2. Below are the 3 CPR courses Elliot Fitness Services offer to the community.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. HeartCode® BLS is the American Heart Association’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode® blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode® BLS and then complete a hands-on in-person skills session with a certified American Heart Association BLS instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately) will receive a Heartcode® BLS Course Completion card, valid for two years.

To complete this course, 2 parts must be fully completed:

Part 1: Online Education Portion (sold through the American Heart Association, pay online)
Please complete prior to your Skills Session (Part 2).

View the course description and purchase the online portion of this program

Part 2: HeartCode BLS Skills Session ($65.00 paid to Elliot Hospital)
Sign up for an in-person skills session to review practical skills and complete skills testing.

**If you are an Elliot Employee, BLS can be completed through your HealthStream.
