Robotic-Assisted & Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery
Elliot Hospital offers a robust robotic-assisted surgical program using the da Vinci® surgical system. The precision of robotic technology is ideal for delicate and complex urologic surgeries, particularly prostatectomies.

Robotic-assisted urologic surgery provides our skilled surgeons with an enhanced 3D view of the surgical area, plus superior dexterity of movement. The benefits for patients can include minimal post-operative pain, few complications, lower risk of infection, quicker recovery, and minimal scarring.

What is Aquablation?
Aquablation therapy is a new type of minimally invasive surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It uses the power of water delivered with robotic precision to remove affected prostate tissue. Aquablation requires no-incision to target and remove the obstructing tissue. This innovative therapy provides long-term relief of BPH symptoms with a low risk of side effects or complications.

Aquablation is performed at Elliot Hospital and done under anesthesia. The procedure takes less than an hour and may require an overnight stay.

The urologic surgeons who operate at Elliot Hospital are the first in New Hampshire to offer this advanced, minimally invasive treatment.
