The Inspired Giving Program provides an opportunity for patients and family members to thank Elliot staff for the exceptional care received at The Elliot, remember a loved one, or celebrate an important milestone.
When a member of The Elliot team has made a difference for you or your family, the Inspired Giving Grateful Patient Program is a tangible way to express your gratitude. Gifts can be made to the area of your choice and staff are acknowledged with special recognition from The Elliot Senior Leadership Team.
Gifts of all sizes provide funding to advance the mission of Elliot Health System – to INSPIRE WELLNESS, to HEAL our patients, and to SERVE with compassion in every interaction.
Donor recognition is available with an engraved leaf on our Trees of Life with gifts of $500 or more.
A tribute gift is a meaningful way to give to honor and remember a family member, friend, or colleague.
Life brings many exciting moments – the birth of a child, a special birthday, or retirement. Celebrate these life moments with an inspired gift.
Grateful patient, memorial, and milestone gifts can be directed to a variety of areas throughout The Elliot. A notification of your memorial or milestone gift will be sent to a family member at your request.
Donor recognition is available with an engraved leaf on our Trees of Life with gifts of $500 or more. Recognition trees are located at the Elliot Hospital in the NICU, Fitch Unit, Cancer Center, and at our VNA & Hospice offices. Leaves are engraved with a personalized inscription with your gift to any of these areas of care. Small leaves available with your gift of $500 and large leaves with a gift of $1,000 or more.

Celebrating Milestones Through Inspired Giving
Renee and Cam Geddes celebrated their daughter Mila’s first birthday with a party fit for a princess! Wanting to pay it forward and give back to The Elliot Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), they requested that in lieu of gifts, donations be made in Mila’s name to the NICU and raised over $2,000 for the department that they credit with saving her life. 
Mila was born at The Elliot Hospital on November 26, 2022, following a very long and difficult delivery. She was immediately admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and placed on a cooling blanket. Her father Cam remarks, “For the next seven days she received world-class care from the most incredible team of Doctors and Nurses who ultimately saved her life and gave her a second chance at a successful future.”
Today, Mila is thriving. She is a happy, healthy, strong, bright little baby who without the care of the NICU team, would not be where she is today.
“Although we were fortunate enough to only spend seven nights in the NICU, we experienced first-hand the overwhelming challenge that is having your baby admitted to this department and witnessed the same for other parents. We understand the constant struggle of watching your baby lay in a tiny hospital bed, listening to the sounds of foreign machines while you helplessly watch.” says Renee. As they celebrate their daughter’s birthday, Cam and Renee continue to look back with gratitude for the care they received at The Elliot NICU, “We are so blessed that our story with Mila had a bright ending, and as a result, wanted to give back to the NICU team. Our hope is that this contribution will provide not only the department and the babies with additional resources, but also the families with current and future babies of the NICU.”

Matching Gifts
You may be able to increase your gift through a matching gift program offered by your employer. Many companies offer programs to match their employees’ charitable contributions.
Search for your employer below. In the search results, if there is a link for your company’s Intranet, please use this to log in and submit your request. Not finding your employer? You may still have a matching gift program, so ask your HR representative.
Monthly Giving
Monthly donations make an impact in the lives of the patients we serve all year! Your credit card will be charged the day you sign up, and every month thereafter on that day. Your monthly donation is 100 percent tax deductible and is a great way to support the life-saving work being done at The Elliot every day. Your donations will support the area of your choice and are available to the department each month to support clinical upgrades, patient programs, and staff training.
