The Elliot Health System’s Rehabilitation Department offers Occupational Therapy (OT) services across multiple settings. Our Occupational Therapists work in the acute inpatient care and the outpatient ambulatory settings to assist patients in regaining the ability to do the things they need to do. Activities of daily living (ADL’s), like dressing, bathing or grooming, are often taken for granted until significant challenges occur due to illness or injury. Our skilled and licensed OT specialists help patients work to regain these skills, learn adaptive strategies or maximize function in the presence of a physical or cognitive compromise.
