Each discipline and diagnosis can include aquatic therapy as a means to help rehabilitate the patient. The skills utilized combined with the therapeutic effects of the water help progress the patient to the greatest level of functional performance. Aquatics can be used for a variety of conditions including but not limited to: weight bearing restrictions, gait training, upper body, lower body, core and scapula strengthening, respiratory strengthening, language elicitation, social engagement, assistance with sensory processing, neurological feedback, balance training, multi task training, and cognitive training or speech training.
A hydraulic seated lift is available to those who are unable to negotiate stairs or are limited with mobility.
