Application Process

All Pharmacy Residency Program applicants are required to be graduating from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited school of pharmacy (or one in the process of pursing accreditation) and be eligible for licensure in the state of New Hampshire.

The Elliot Health System (EHS) residency program utilizes the ASHP Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Services (PhORCAS).  Please upload the following application materials to PhORCAS.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Intent/Personal Statement
  • Pharmacy Transcript
  • Three Recommendations via PhORCAS
    • 1 from professor
    • 1 from clinical faculty member/preceptor
    • 1 from employer (or another preceptor/professor if no employer)

Interview Process

Elliot Hospital is pleased to offer a choice of virtual or onsite interviews.

  • Interview with Director of Pharmacy
  • Interview with Preceptors
  • Interview with Residency Director and Pharmacy Manager
  • Math/Pharmacotherapy Competency Exam
  • 10-minute PowerPoint Presentation on a Clinical Topic
