Screenings & Diagnostics

At The Elliot, we offer advanced cancer screening services designed to detect disease at its earliest, most treatable stages.

Early Detection is the Best Protection

Early detection is the best prevention and screenings are one of the most powerful tools we have to protect your health. At The Elliot, our team provides breast, lung, and colorectal cancer screenings using the latest technology and evidence-based guidelines. With compassionate follow-up and personalized support, we help you take proactive steps toward peace of mind and better outcomes, close to home.

Breast Cancer Screening

Statistics show that regular mammogram screenings increase the chance of finding breast cancer in its earliest stages, which can improve long-term outcomes. At The Elliot, we encourage you to speak with your primary care provider or gynecologist to determine the best screening plan for you.

In general, women 40 years and older should receive annual mammograms. Finding breast cancer early reduces your risk of dying from the disease by 25–30% or more. The Elliot Breast Health Center in Manchester offer expert care by a dedicated team that includes fellowship-trained breast radiologists and the latest technology, including 3-D tomosynthesis mammography.

Lung Cancer Screening

Lung cancer can be cured if detected early. The Elliot is designated as Lung Cancer Screening Centers by the American College of Radiology, offering low dose CT (LDCT) lung screening to high-risk individuals.

Without LDCT lung screening, lung cancer is usually not found until a person develops symptoms. At that time, the cancer is much harder to treat. Yearly lung screening with LDCT has been shown to save lives by finding lung cancer early, allowing for planned treatment and positive outcomes.

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Colonoscopy has long been the standard in screening for colorectal cancer in people age 50 or older. It has proven effective in finding polyps (growths) and lesions in the colon that can be removed before they become cancer. With routine screening, colon cancer is largely preventable, and treatable with early detection.
