There are two ways to schedule:

While scheduling, you will be asked to provide information about your health concerns and provide consent for treatment prior to meeting with a physician.
Most insurance plans are accepted for VirtualER visits. An Elliot VirtualER visit is billed as a specialist copay. If you need to be seen in-person following your video visit at an Elliot Urgent Care location or Elliot Emergency Department, the virtual video visit copay will be waived. If you receive treatment virtually during your video visit, the cost will be less than a visit to the Emergency Department and similar in cost to an outpatient visit to see a specialist. Please contact your insurance company for more details related to the cost of a virtual video visit.
Yes, medications may be prescribed if your Elliot emergency medicine doctor determines this as an appropriate treatment for your care need. Please note that prescriptions for controlled substances such as pain medication or psychiatric medication are not available at a VirtualER visit.
You will see and speak with an Elliot emergency medicine doctor online to discuss your care need you provided when scheduling your appointment. The doctor will ask questions to evaluate your symptoms and discuss next steps as part of your treatment. Your visit will last approximately 15 minutes.
The outcomes of your video visit will vary and are based on your condition and treatment plan. You may be prescribed medication for pick up or lab or diagnostic testing. You may also be referred for in-person care to Urgent Care or the Emergency Department.
