Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Overview

Our Critical Care Medicine team, which works across all of SolutionHealth, comprises specially trained staff, including board-certified Intensivists. These highly skilled intensivists provide round-the-clock, on-site coverage at the ICU to ensure patients receive the highest-quality and timeliest care possible. This model of care has been shown to increase survival rates, reduce the length of stay, reduce complications, and improve overall safety and quality of care.

By offering this high level of critical care services, SolutionHealth’s Critical Care Medicine team can care for more patients locally without transferring to other academic medical centers. Providing this care closer to home can be a tremendous comfort to patients and families experiencing serious medical conditions and crises.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at The Elliot has 16 beds to care for critically ill patients who need continuous care and observation.

In addition to our intensivists, a multidisciplinary team approach ensures patients benefit from the best care and outcomes possible. These team members include:
