Dr. Syed Asif Razvi, MD, MBA, FACS brings 40 years of experience as a General and Vascular Surgeon from Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, Dr. Razvi brings with him several years’ experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Razvi is an educator and served on the teaching faculty of Tufts University School of Medicine, educating medical students and residents in surgery for 40 years. He was recognized as the best teacher by the Tufts medical students and was awarded the William Halstead award for excellence in teaching surgical residents in 1995 and 2006-7. Dr. Razvi is a member of AAWC and the UHMS besides many surgical vascular societies. Since starting practice as the Medical Director of The Elliot Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in 2011, Dr. Razvi was chosen as the New Hampshire Magazine’s Top Doctor and Leading Physician in wound care for the years 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Dr. Shantanu Basu, MD, FACS has over 40 years of experience in General and Vascular Surgery, in the Boston Massachusetts area. He is Board Certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with more than forty years of concentration in venous disease. Dr. Basu has focused his practice in the specialty of Wound Care at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Beth Israel, BIDMC in Boston. His teaching experience includes Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Tufts Medical School and providing lectures to Tufts and Harvard Medical School students on the topics of management of venous disease. He has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. Dr. Basu has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2017.
Michelle Momenee, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWS graduated from the University of New Hampshire, with a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, a Doctorate Certificate in Cognate College Teaching, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier College in Nashua, NH. Michelle is a Certified Wound Specialist as a Diplomate with the American Board of Wound Management with more than 10 years of experience in providing wound care management across the age spectrum. She has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. Michelle is an active member of the Elliot Medical Staff and is a member of the Non-Physician Provider Credentialing Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Elliot Medical Group Ambulatory Leadership Council, and is the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Council Chair. Michelle is a member of AANC, NHNPA, AAWC, ABWM, WHS and UHMS. Michelle has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2011.
Karyn Romanoski-Newick, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vermont Technical College. She has over 15 years of clinical experience across multiple settings including emergency medicine, podiatry, and wound care. She has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. She is currently undergoing certification as a Diplomate Wound Specialist with the American Board of Wound Management. Karyn is a member of NHNPA, AANP, UHMS, and ABWM. Karyn has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2017.
Nicole Gordon MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions with a Master of Science in Nursing with an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner degree, and a Bachelor of Science from Assumption College in Biology with a concentration in Gerontology. Nicole is a board certified Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has over 14 years of health care experience in primary care, long term care, and sub-acute nursing facility care across multiple out-patient settings including with Urban Medical Group/BIDMC Jamaica Plain and Elliot Senior Health Primary Care. She has a special interest in wound and ostomy care and is seeking certification as a wound & ostomy care nurse. She is an active member of the Elliot Non-Physician Provider Credentialing Committee. Nicole is a member of the ANA, NHNA, and WOCN. Nicole has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2019.
