Meet the Team


Dr. Darin Miller, MD, FACS

Dr. Darin Miller, MD, FACS is American Board Certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois and then earned his Medical Degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed his General Surgery residency at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. After residency Dr. Miller practiced General Surgery for over 25 years in both Northern Illinois and Southern Maine.

Dr. Miller is an experienced wound care and hyperbaric physician and has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. Dr. Miller has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2019.

Dr. Miller is currently serving as the Medical Director for Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine at the Elliot Health System.


Susan Dionne, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWCN

Susan Dionne, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWCN graduated from Simmons University with a Master of Science with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University. Susan is a Certified Wound Care Nurse, credentialed by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board. She has been certified and has provided specialty wound and ostomy care since 2005. Susan is a member of the AANP, NHNPA, and the WOCN Society. Susan has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2020.


Nicole Gordon, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, CWON-AP

Nicole Gordon MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, CWON-AP graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions with a Master of Science in Nursing and is a board-certified Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She holds an undergraduate degree from Assumption College and completed wound and ostomy studies through Emory University Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Center. Prior to joining the wound center, Nicole had over 15 years of health care experience in primary care, long term care, and sub-acute nursing facility care across multiple out-patient settings. She is a certified Advance Practice Wound and Ostomy Nurse through the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board. Within the Elliot, Nicole is member of the Medical Executive Committee and the Non-Physician Provider Credentialing Committee. Nicole has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2019.


Michelle Momenee, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWS

Michelle Momenee, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CWS graduated from the University of New Hampshire, with a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, a Doctorate Certificate in Cognate College Teaching, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier College in Nashua, NH. Michelle is a Certified Wound Specialist as a Diplomate with the American Board of Wound Management with more than 10 years of experience in providing wound care management across the age spectrum. She has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. Michelle is an active member of the Elliot Medical Staff and is a member of the Non-Physician Provider Credentialing Committee, the Elliot Medical Group Ambulatory Leadership Council, and is a past member of the Medical Executive Committee, and past Chair of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Council. Michelle is a member of AANC, NHNPA, AAWC, ABWM, WHS and UHMS. Michelle has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2011.


Karyn Romanoski-Newick, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Karyn Romanoski-Newick, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vermont Technical College. She has over 15 years of clinical experience across multiple settings including emergency medicine, podiatry, and wound care. She has completed a UHMS approved course in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and provides both hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care to patients here at the Elliot. She is currently undergoing certification as a Diplomate Wound Specialist with the American Board of Wound Management. Karyn is a member of NHNPA, AANP, UHMS, and ABWM. Karyn has been a member of the Elliot Wound Center since joining our team in 2017.
