About Stephen R Loosigian, DO

Dr. Loosigian has been with The Elliot for 20 years. He is the medical director of the Hospitalist program at Elliot Hospital and much of his clinical practice involves critical care medicine. Dr. Loosigian completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Loosigian graduated from medical school at the University of New England in Maine. He also completed an MBA from the University of Massachusetts as well as a master’s degree in biology from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Colorado. Dr. Loosigian is board-certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Loosigian is the current president of the Elliot medical staff as well as a board member of Elliot Health System.

Dr. Loosigian is also a current and founding board member of SolutionHealth.
