About Ann C Cabot, DO

Ann Cameron Cabot, DO, board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology and the only multiple sclerosis specialist in southern New Hampshire, earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and a Bachelor of Science and Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. She completed her residency and fellowship training in multiple sclerosis at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

With over 20 years of experience in neurology, Dr. Cabot has primarily focused on the care of individuals with multiple sclerosis. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She has received awards as New Hampshire Magazine’s Top Doc NH, from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as several awards for exemplary scholarship, teaching, and compassionate care during her neurology residency.

Dr. Cabot considers it a great honor to be a physician and to care for patients with multiple sclerosis. Over the two decades that she has been working with her patients, the landscape of multiple sclerosis treatments has changed dramatically. She says, "I want to be there with them to help with evidence-based science, compassion, and empathy.”

Dr. Cabot says the key to a good patient/provider relationship is “good communication and helping the patient to find and utilize the myriad of helpful resources available to them.” She is honored to work with such a wonderful team of specialists at the Elliot, from radiologists and nurses to medical assistants and neuro-rehabilitation providers.

“Neurology is always changing and always challenging, and I feel so lucky to be working in a time when we can really help improve a person’s quality of life with our interventions,” says Dr. Cabot.

When not at work, Dr. Cabot loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys being anywhere outside and hanging with her dogs.
