About Nadir Siddiqui, MD
Nadir Siddiqui, MD, a board-certified internist with advanced subspecialty training, is joining the team at Elliot Pulmonary Medicine Associates. Dr. Siddiqui earned his medical degree from Sindh Medical College (Dow University of Health Sciences) in Karachi, Pakistan. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his residency at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Following residency, Dr. Siddiqui pursued two consecutive fellowships - one in Pulmonary Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York, and another in Sleep Medicine at JFK Medical Center in New Jersey. His clinical experience also includes work as a hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Massachusetts and Bassett Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Siddiqui brings a decade of diverse clinical and academic experience spanning pulmonary disease, sleep medicine, critical care, and general internal medicine. His research has been widely presented at national conferences, including ATS and CHEST, with a focus on pulmonary pathology, airway disease, and sleep-disordered breathing. Having trained and practiced across various health systems in the U.S. and internationally, Dr. Siddiqui’s broad exposure to complex cases enhances his clinical acumen and patient-centered approach.
