About Kevin C Floyd, MD
Kevin C. Floyd, MD, is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Floyd brings a distinguished background in Catheter Ablation and extensive expertise performing over a thousand WATCHMAN™ Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) procedures. Dr. Floyd is a member of Elliot Cardiovascular Consultants and the systems’ established Electrophysiology program, strengthening the depth and capabilities of the Elliot Heart and Vascular team by offering advanced, integrated heart rhythm management and stroke‑prevention therapies.
Dr. Floyd’s capabilities include providing advanced heart therapies of Catheter Ablation for atrial fibrillation (AFib) and WATCHMAN™ Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) implant, providing comprehensive heart rhythm disorder management to New Hampshire communities and regions. With Dr. Floyd’s expertise, patients have access to a higher level of specialized heart care — from diagnosis and rhythm stabilization to stroke prevention and long‑term follow‑up – within a single, coordinated program.
Atrial fibrillation (AFib) now affects more than 10.5 million American adults — approximately 1 in 22 people — according to new national estimates published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. As its prevalence continues to rise, access to comprehensive AFib care is more important than ever. If left untreated, AFib elevates the risk of stroke and heart failure. Elliot’s expanded service model ensures patients have access to the most advanced treatment options available.
Dr. Floyd’s mission to providing exceptional patient care is centered on fostering unique relationships with his patients and understanding who someone is beyond their diagnosis. By learning about an individual’s family, interests, and what matters most to them, he believes health decisions support their lives.
