About Meghan E Sheehan, APRN
Meghan Sheehan, MSN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, is a dual board certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in both Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Family Medicine. With over eight years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner across emergency medicine, internal medicine, and urgent care settings, Meghan brings a comprehensive and adaptable approach to patient care that spans the spectrum from acute interventions to long-term management.
Meghan earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, in Baltimore, Maryland, one of the nation’s leading institutions in healthcare education. To further expand their scope of practice and address the full continuum of patient needs across the lifespan, Meghan completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Medicine from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, MA. Her undergraduate experience includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in Syracuse, New York.
Throughout their career, Meghan has been recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced and high-acuity environments. Their clinical interests include chronic disease management, acute care transitions, and improving access to timely care. Known for strong clinical judgment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a compassionate bedside manner, Meghan continues to advance best practices in advanced nursing through ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership in the healthcare community. Throughout the past four years, Meghan has served as a New Hampshire state representative to the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. She is also the recipient of the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses, nominated by a family of her critically-ill patient while practicing in the intensive care unit.
