About Catherine B Phamduy, MD

Catherine Bao Thi Phamduy, MD is a fellowship trained hospice and palliative care physician. 

Dr.Phamduy earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, and went on to complete a three-year Family Medicine residency at Brown University Kent Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Following this, she completed a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where she cared for patients in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, hospice centers, and at home. Through these experiences, Dr. Phamduy has developed a deep commitment to guiding patients and families with skill, compassion, and respect.

Over the past several years, Dr. Phamduy has dedicated herself to improving care for individuals with serious illness, with a special focus on communication, advance care planning, and supporting families through transitions in health. She is an active member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and she looks forward to serving patients and families through her role at The Elliot.
