About Naureen Mirza, MD

Dr. Mirza joined Elliot Rheumatology after having been an assistant professor of clinical medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the State University of New York (SUNY) Stoneybrook, for six years. She attended SUNY Upstate Medical University Syracuse, where she was fellowship-trained in rheumatology. Prior to that, Dr. Mirza completed her fellowship training in geriatric medicine at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Flushing, NY. Both her internship and residency training also took place at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Mirza obtained her medical degree at Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, Pakistan. She is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
